Following the severe devastation and losses in the Kinderarche area caused by Cyclone “Montha” at the end of October, we asked for special donations for the worst affected people in the area by email and in our November newsletter.
The response was very pleasing: our donation account received more than 5,000 euros for the cyclone victims, which we were able to transfer to India promptly. The people and families most in need were then identified in the various locations. The Kinderarche staff organized several relief campaigns in which food and essential everyday items were distributed to those affected. Among other things, they received warm clothing, blankets, personal hygiene products and detergents, buckets and cups, as well as a small supply of food.

All of the people who received aid as part of these programs were extremely grateful for the relief supplies they needed and the very welcome support they received after the cyclone.
Many thanks to all those who have contributed with their donations – the help has arrived!!!
