On February 15, the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Indian Children’s Ark took place on the campus of the Children’s Ark in Kesavaram. All the children supported by the Children’s Ark were invited. A number of alumni also attended, some with their own families, as did the local Christian congregation of Kesavaram. Finally, four guests from Germany were also present.
The festive service in the late morning was followed by a communal lunch for all children, staff and guests. Afterwards, there was time for chatting, taking photos and playing. Afterwards, the children and everyone else present were allowed to gather in the large hall of the Children’s Ark. A review of the past 25 years was presented in a cheerful atmosphere. Afterwards, the children received small gifts, and to top it all off, there was a round of ice cream for everyone!
It was a very successful celebration, perfectly organized by our Indian friends, and a wonderful day for everyone who was able to attend!
25 years of blessed history under God’s protective shelter – we can only marvel and be grateful!
