There was still a small amount left over from the special donations for the cyclone victims after the aid campaigns. The Kinderarche staff were able to use this to initiate special Christmas support for particularly needy families. Wool blankets and saris were distributed to poor women. Children received toys, plates, stationery and a New Testament. Everyone was delighted and very grateful for this unaccustomed and unexpected Christmas gift. They also send their thanks and best wishes to Germany!
